Despite the current situation you are of course hard to deal with the video game development at Activision Blizzard. With the currently published Diablo 2 Resurrected, one focused on the reviving of a classic, while with OverVATCH 2 the successful first-person shooter should continue.
To the latter, Blizzard now has new information for fans ready. Only recently, in the context of the Owatch League Grand Finals, one announced some details on the Reworks of Sombra and Bastion. For this purpose, the company now published two short videos, which introduce the changes to the two heroes in detail.
An invisible danger: The Rework of Sombra
Sombra is likely to be a double-edged sword for many players. Anyone who has the invisible-making hacker in their own team is leaving over the mies-humored opponents. If you play against you and keep your own back in mind, not to be done from behind, you should rather deteriorate.
In this way, in spite of the rework, not much is likely to change much in Oververtch 2. The good, namely, with their hacking ability can block the skills of other players. But while the cooldown of hacking was significantly reduced, the blocking effect also keeps shorter shorter. Sombra now causes bonus damage to the heroes disabled by her.
Their ultimate ability is still hacking all the enemies made but does not remove any shields and instead causes damage of 40% of the current life of the opponent. In addition, the invisibility of Sombra is no longer canceled when using your hacking skill. Although she is briefly seen during hacking, it will be immediately invisible immediately.
A peaceful killer robot: The Rework of Bastion
In contrast to Sombras fine, but rather small adjustments, the birding robot bastion may look forward to a fully scaled round renovation. Optical changes include a newer look and a stylish hat to give it more character.
But of course Bastion may also be happy about playful changes. The peaceful Robo hero loses his ability to repair themselves and thus regenerate life. Instead, he can now shoot a ball that bounces off walls and adheres to opposing heroes. After a short delay, the projectile explodes, causes area damage and pushes back enemies.
In addition, it has adapted its normal shots that now less scatter, but shot with a lower fire rate. Bastion s ultimate ability was completely revised. Instead of a tank mode, this now puts it into an artillery mode in which he can summon three artillery lashes at any point on the whole card.
Because he was robbed of mobility in the Ultimate, he now gets donated this in his gun mode. He had previously been firmly anchored in one place, he can move as gun in Overwatch 2 to free pieces. In his mobile shape, however, he is a bit slower and the ability to get a cooldown time in contrast to balance the whole.
What do you think about the changes and do you want appropriate adjustments for your favorite heroes? Or would you prefer to stay the way you are? Write us your opinion in the comments.
